Inspired by my own birthing experiences, both good and uncertain, I was intrigued as well as inspired to get involved in the world of childbirth. In 2005, I began my training as a doula at Seattle Midwifery School. I instantly found a passion for the work of a doula and wanted to expand my awareness through additional education. In the fall of 2006 I completed the Childbirth Educator Program at Bates Technical College in Tacoma, Washington. I support families in the South Puget Sound area as a doula and a Birthing From Within™ Mentor.
